Exclamation Object Expected errors!!!!!
Hello. For the last few months, no matter what webpage I visit I have a yellow yield sign with an exclamation point stating that it is done loading, but with errors on page. When I double-click the icon, it brings up a window that tells me something went wrong and lists the error. It usually lists a line and a character and says 'Object expected' with the url link underneath. I have switched around my internet options settings, I have the latest updates for Java version 6, and everything I have tried has not worked so far. Thankfully there is nothing major going on, but a lot of what I do online involves loading videos, games, etc., and lately they load very slowly, and some not at all. I am to the point now where I want to take my computer to the landfill and buy a new machine, but this computer is only a little over a year old. I have searched through forum after forum trying to find help with this issue, but all of the solutions that have worked for other people are ones I have tried, i.e: check my java settings and updates, check my pop-up blocker, make sure in internet tools advanced settings that script debugging is unchecked and the box for NOT displaying script errors is checked. All of those things are already the way they should be, yet I still have this problem. Is there anyone out there that can help me, PLS?!?!?!
ps- my OS is WindowsXP SP2 and I have IE7
