Redirect email?
I currently am hosted on a shared host which redirects my zeno[AT]biyg[DOT]org email to another email address.

I am moving to a VPS and I am looking for how to do this. My domain is controlled by 1&1, but I don't know if the change I need to make is to the VPS server or my domain settings.

If you are hosting your mail through your VPS then you will probably have to change it through there. Although I don't use 1&1, every service provide I have dealt with has provided some tool to easily change the settings of the server without having to deal with command prompt. Although if you want to get tricky you can edit it via cmd once you know what mail server you are using.
