Smile Solved: Problem in pop3 account configuration.
HI All,

I am working as a system administrator in a gaming company around with 90 systems.we are using pop3 accounts to send and receive mails...

I have one problem with pop3 accounts...

Problem is, We have Three pop3 accounts..

1) test1@test.com
2) test2@test.com
3) test3@test.com

These three accounts are in same mail pop3 mail server.I configure these three accounts in one user profile...

I create three .pst files for these three accounts.Names of .pst files is Test1,Test2 and Test3..

Suppose i send a test mail to above three accounts (test1,test2 and test3), All mails are directley stored under test1@test.com account because this is default mail delivery .pst..This is my big problem..because i have trouble to find out other mails which other accounts (test2 and test3)..

My Requirement is

1) When user send mail to test1@test.com, it should come under test1 inbox when press on send and receive.
2) When user send mail to test2@test.com, it should come under test2 inbox when press on send and receive.
3) When user send mail to test3@test.com, it should come under test3 inbox when press on send and receive.

please help me..

Thanks in Advance...

Happy New Year to All Friends..

Hi bhanuk

You will need to setup Rules to move the messages for each e-mail account to their respective .pst files.
In Outlook 2003:
Tools > Rules and Alerts > New Rule > Start from a blank rule > Check messages when they arrive > Next

From there select the Conditions and actions for the first rule, this will cover the test2 e-mail account's messages.
Create a second rule to move the messages for the test3 e-mail account.
The test1 e-mail account will not need a rule since the test1.pst file is the default delivery location.

An alternative would be to use the Search folders, these can be configured to Search for each e-mail account. Create a Search folder for each of the three test accounts then open the saved Search folder when you want to run a Search for that particular e-mail account.

Another option would be to create three different profiles in Outlook 2003, each profile would contain only one of the three e-mail accounts. The drawback however, is you would need to close and reopen Outlook 2003 to access each e-mail account.

Let us know if that helps or not.
