You are welcome, sorry we were unable to get on the same page.

No, the thread will automatically close in 45 days.

Another option would be to drag all the messages out of that Personal Folders and consolidate them into another Personal Folders. Leaving the stuck message behind.
Then close the Personal Folders from Outlook 2003 using: Right click > Close "Personal Folders"

You can close the other Personal Folders in the same way.

The Practice Personal Folders will remain as your Default Delivery Location.
If you want to rename "Practice" to something else, you can do that.
Though I don't see Practice in your Personal Folders list.

If you change your mind later, just post back to this thread.

Good luck!

Guess what I am back. I have learnt a lot through your help. I did what you said moved messages out of personal folders to another personal folders then closed that personal folders with the stuck message!!! Thanks Now one more problem when I go to new e mail it comes up then I push To: and it comes up with a box that says No Entries in this Address book. I can go to my Contacts before hand and copy the address and then past it but it is easier the other way. Is there something small I can do to get that back.

Should be a snap to do.

In Outlook 2003:
Go > Folder List

Right click on the Contacts folder containing your contacts:
Properties > Outlook Address Book tab
Place a check mark in: Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book
Apply, OK to save and close.

Open a new message and press the To: button, your Contacts should appear.

Let us know if that works for you or not.

I did exactly what you said. When I opened up new message and pressed to this is what came up in a box:
"The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have
permissions" I then pushed ok and up pops a box that says Select Names Contacts comes up in that and nothing there When I push the little arrow there are three things in it Outlook Address Book then Contacts and then another contacts under it. If I click on the next contacts they are there but that is a pain to go through that each time.
And for your information when I click on the contact file they are in there.

The second Contacts list is probably left over from the Personal Folders containing the stuck message. To get rid of it, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the Outlook Address Book, which is fairly simple and it will give you a clean slate for the Outlook Address Book.

This link shows the steps for removing and reinstalling the Outlook Address Book:
"The address list could not be displayed" error message when you use your Contacts to address a new message in Outlook

After reinstalling the Outlook Address Book you will be adding the Contacts folder back into the Address Book.

Let us know how that goes.
