Hello to all.

My mother dowloaded Firefox 3 because she read something about a virus threat to Internet Explorer users. Sometime after she must have removed IE7 from her computer. When she went to use the BBC iPlayer, Firefox gave her an error message and tolled her to restart Firefox, she restarted it and it gives the same message. Later she wanted to reinstall IE7 it does all dowloading, validating fine but it doesnt install. When it finishes there's a message that says, "Installation is not complete" and it tells her to restart the computer, plus it adds a Internet Explorer Troubleshooting shortcut on the desktop. She restarts the computer, runs the instalation again and gives the same error. We tried to install IE8 Beta but it gave us the same problem. Also, in the start menu, the IE logo is up but says "Internet Explorer (with out add ons)".

She uses Windows XP Service Pack 3.
