Solved: Thunderbird 2.0 questions: get rid of "load image" button and acquire folders
When I get an email it automatically blocks the pictures unless the sender is in my address book. I would like for it to automatically view all pictures from all emails.

Also I use Yahoo! mail, and would like to know how to get saved e-mails from folders on my Yahoo! mail (such as my Pictures folder) to Thunderbird.

Thanks!

This article explains why automatically loading images from unknowns (who may be spammers wanting to verify your email address) but also describes how to do it.

If you get the paid version of Yahoo! mail you can download messages. However, I don't know if you can convert your free account to paid; in other words, this may not do any good for messages you already have.

Of course, you can forward your Yahoo! messages to a POP3 or IMAP account.
