Outlook 2003 error 0x800ccc0f
Email client is outlook 2003, I cannot receive emails larger than 1 meg. I can send emails with no problem. If I delete the 1 meg emails through webmail, I am able to receive emails. I am getting error 0x800ccc0f. The connection to server was interrupted. if the probelm continues, contact your server administrator or ISP. The server responded: +ok.

Sounds like your outlook is configured to save a copy on the server and your mailbox is full.

Srhoades, that is not the case. There is plenty of space on the inbox. Thanks.

Hi ecsave

Do you have any Rules setup that reference a message size?

If not, try creating a new profile to see if the behavior persists in a new Outlook profile:
How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003

Let us know if that makes a difference or not.

Try increasing the timeout setting, also anti-virus software is also known to produce this. Try disabling the email protection and see if that doesn't help.

I have tried creating a new profile, uninstalling virus software and increasing the timeout with no success. I do not have any rules setup.

The new profile would not download any messages?

Can you clarify? Is the option: Leave a copy of messages on the server, enabled? In the original profile?

The new profile will not download any new messages until I delete messages that are greater than 1 meg. If I delete the messages that are 1 meg or larger, then I will be able to receive all email messages smaller than 1 meg.

Thank you. Can you clarify the other question, please?
