I was able to delete that message from the server, but i still can't send and receive mail and i still get that error message but with another number. Please help me, i really need that mail account. | | Senior Member with 721 posts. | | Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Brisbane/Toowoomba, Australia Experience: A few clues & ditsy | | Ususaly you can look up error message numbers by doing a search on the net and Microsoft would prob have on their site error numbers for their products, , if your computer is linked to the server i suggest you contact your IT person. | | Junior Member with 13 posts. | | | | Sometimes profiles get corrupted. You could try to delete the account and recreate it inside of outlook. That clears up a lot of things. Also restart your email client afterward. | | Junior Member with 6 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Experience: Intermediate | | Mail error Thank you for your answer. I made a search about the error number, but i didn't find anything about my situation, the error code is linked with another type of error. I already try creating a new identity, a new data outlook file and i start receiving mails from 2 month ago, but it stops at 274 from 510 and i get the same error. | | Junior Member with 6 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Experience: Intermediate | | I forgot to say that i allready run scanpst.exe for my inbox. | | Junior Member with 13 posts. | | | | There is not really an error number in that message. Is it possible to login to a web page for your email account? If so try that and deleting the messages that are causing you a problem. | | Junior Member with 6 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Experience: Intermediate | | Outlook 2003 error I was able to delete this messages from my web mail, but is still doing that. I deleted about half of my emails and nothing, still the same problem, i even reinstall the office package. | | Junior Member with 13 posts. | | | | Have you tried to apply the updates to Outlook 2003. It's up to SP3.
Try this link. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870924/
Also Outlook stores some temp files in your user folder. You might try to delete those temp files and try again. | | Junior Member with 6 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2009 Experience: Intermediate | | Outlook 2003 error This i didn't try it yet, but will be the first thing monday morning.
