Outlook 2007 not sending - Help!
Hi

I am getting to the end of my tether with an issue I have had with Outlook for the last week.

I am unable to send any messages as they getting stuck in my outbox. I have tried various fixes after Googling the problems I am having and have found other people with exactly the same problem but it looks like there isn't a fix.

The error message I get in Outlook is this " Sending' reported error (0x800CCC13) : 'Cannot connect to the network. Verify your network connection or modem.' "

In addition to this when emails are stuck in my outbox I have looked at the delivery options and they are set to not send until 17:00 of the current day, yet when it gets to that time they don't send.

Another issue I am having with Outlook 2007 is that it isn't displaying some emails I have been sent, mainly when they are plain text. Even if I try and open the email up it just shows a blank screen with the senders details and date of it being received but no message.

I have tried the following fixes:
Installed MDBVU32 to try and clear any stuck read receipts
Run a full system scan with Kaspersky and installed the security patch from Microsoft for Outlook
Uninstalled Office 2007 and re-installed
Set up a new mail profile

All of these have not worked.

I am running Windows Vista (yuk!)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I really am getting frustrated at not being able to send emails out.

Thanks

Have you tried deleting everything in the outbox, restarting Outlook, and trying to send again?

Often times we have seen issues with messages getting stuck in the outbox. There are usually two remedies: restart Outlook and hit send/receive, or getting rid of all the messages in the outbox and then restarting.

Also if you don't want to delete the messages I suggest moving all outbox items to the drafts folder, then restart Outlook, and then resend each message from drafts. These methods have worked 100% of the time for us.

Are you connecting to Exchange or a POP account? Have you checked the server configs (or talked to your admin)?

Have tried this too. Deleted them all, but it made no difference.

Am connecting via POP3. Have also set up the same mail account on another computer and it sends fine.

I have had this issue for sometime now. Same error code and symptoms. Started with Outlook 2003 and then upgraded to 2007, changed profiles and data files, checked and rechecked settings, deleted/recreated accounts - you name it I've tried it. The error comes up immediately when I click on "send all". Wife has XP and no problems. I have Vista with all the patches.
Although I can't prove it, I believe it has something to do with Vista and not Outlook. Someone in internet land must know of a solution?
