AIM's sent to both PC and iPhone

I have push notifications for AOL Instant Messenger turned on on my iPhone because I like getting IM's at any time. However, when I'm signed on to AIM on my computer, IM's are sent to my computer AND my iPhone. It is very annoying to receive the same IM twice and hear the noise twice and have to open aim on my phone and delete the message each time. How can I make it so that when I am on AIM on my computer (Windows XP), IM's are NOT forwarded to my iPhone (3GS).
