I don't really think it would be a virus, I think there is some setting with my computer that is preventing the connection. Maybe something to do with my network settings, proxy?, firewall? I'm not really sure.

Click on Start > Run > type CMD

In the Command Prompt, type ipconfig /all.

Click on Start > Run > type services.msc

Locate the DHCP client.

Double-click on it and make sure it's Started and Automatic.

Like rebooting it? What do you mean reset it?
My family has a desktop and another laptop and they both have no problems...But I am willing to try anything at this point

I would still try the free versions of SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. You'd be surprised at what it finds sometimes.

Well they are still scanning, they have both found a few threats so far. I will have to wait till tmrw morning to post the report on what was found.

You may notice that SuperAntiSpyware will show a LOT of tracking cookies. Simply delete them. They are harmless.

You can delete everything SuperAntiSpyware found.

Now, please try Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and post the report that will appear in Notepad.
