Unhappy Internet Explorer opens window half screen
I have tried all of the options. I did the registry thing as per a previous thread in your forum because my windows were opening half screen. Now my windows open smaller but in a different place. Should I add a new value to Window Placement in the registry to denote where the window should open and how big?
This started happening when I chose to show windows side by side.
Have tried maximising and then shutting.
Have tried stretching the screen then shutting.
Have tried stretching it then ctrl/file/exit.

Hi nagswoman,

I don't know if this will work in Vista, but it worked in XP when I had windows tiled and just closed them instead of undo tile. Windows kept remembering the size and position of the tiled windows similar to what you describe.
I opened a couple windows and tiled them, then clicked undo tile. I resized each before closing them, and Windows remembered the size and position after that.
Hope that helps.
