Angry Outlook 2007 - Customized view won't stay customized
When I start Outlook, my Inbox currently displays my messages by Date (Descending) and the Reading Pane is On.

I would prefer the messages appear with the new ones at the bottom and the reading pane off. I can make the changes but they don't last. No matter what I do to change the settings, once I navigate to a different folder and go back to my inbox, they're sorted again by Date (descending) and the reading pane is on again.

This happened to me once before but I don't know how I fixed it.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing? After saving emails that is.
