Google Earth "movies"
Can anyone tell me if you can make tours/movies w/Google Earth free version? I have poked around and can't find out for sure....I saw a project where a teacher had her students assigned to create tours of a given state w/landmarks, major surface features, etc, etc, and wondering if I could do the same; not sure whether it was done on free version. The PRO version is about $400 (!)

You can create tours inside Google Earth with any version, but the Pro version is required to export tours to video.

However, you should be able to record tours with 3rd party software such as FRAPS, which only costs $37.
