mattytun1514,

Outlook Express Inbox message are in a file named Inbox.dbx and are typically found in the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\Mattytun\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{9984D6CA-76CC-4170-BE6E-EFFDFB3FB0E9}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

The directory {9984D6CA-76CC-4170-BE6E-EFFDFB3FB0E9} may be a different number on your computer.

You can verify the directory in OE by going to Tools > Options > Maintenance > Store Folder

Check in your Recycle bin for Inbox.bak.
That's a backup file created by OE when messages are compacted.
