Hello, I hope someone can help me with this…
I have a user, using windows XP, outlook 2003. Last week she tried to access some old emails and received the following error message.
Can't open this item. your digital ID name can not be found by the underlying security system.
I have verified that the digital Id’s on her computer are all still valid. She has three, two expire in 2010, and one expires in 2023. The emails that have locked up were from September and viewable at the time. The person who is sending her the emails is within the company and has NO digital ids associated with her account.
I’m afraid to remove the digital ids she has on her pc as she is not sure who to go to for a new one if we can’t get em back. Anyone have any suggestions?
