I am able to surf the net and get into my yahoo account and other websites, but not my primary gmail account. Sometimes I can get in, but most of the time, lately, it just sits there, until it times out.
Any idea what's going on? | | Account Closed with 654 posts. | | | | Maybe the gmail server is a bit stressed at the moment. Have you tried checking your mail by POP using an email client like Thunderbird? | | Senior Member with 203 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Cape Cod, MA, U.S.A. Another option may be looking into the security/privacy/proxy settings in the internet options if you use the internet explorer to browse the web | | Distinguished Member with 3,182 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2006 Experience: Intermediate | | Hi,
It's possible to get your Yahoo mail automatically forwarded to Gmail - I do that so that I only need to check Gmail. Is that what you'd like to try? If so I'll try to dig out a link to a guide.

I want to do this, because I am having trouble actually logging onto Gmail. I have been able to check other email accounts at Yahoo, in the past, but that was another account, with my previous ISP, and not Gmail.
