save & quit Firefox
This isn't a major problem, but I thought maybe someone had an explanation. If I Save & Quit Firefox, then click on the Firefox icon on my desktop to open it again, I get the message that I'm already running Firefox. I have to End Process in Task Manager in order to open it again. Why does it continue to run after I quit it?

Could be a problem with an extension.
In Firefox, disable your extensions and see if the problem persist.
If not, then re enable your extensions one at a time until the problem returns.
