okay, now my computer won't let me download AVG remover. I click it, and nothing. i did "save link as" and when i tried to open the file from my desktop, it said it wasnt a valid Win32 Application (or something along those lines).

Just to let you know the site is not down as I can get to it ...try this free uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html not found anything it cant uninstall yet,will not interupt again and I leave it in Phantoms hands ....
