I'm having a really bad problem, my antivirus trial went out of date so i uninstalled it about 4-5 weeks ago, it's just come to my attention that although my internet works, any applications i have will not connect to the internet at all, even with my firewall turned off.
I have downloaded a few online games such as wow that will not let me run the application to download the games off the internet, i can't even go onto msn messenger.
Everything just tells me it can't connect to the internet.

Removing traces of Norton will most likely solve your problem but you might also have other problems.

CV32.dll in your HijackThis log's 020 entry could possibly be a dll for HP but isn't found anywhere on the Web. It could also be malware.

Use the Browse button at Jotti, then Navigate to the suspect file....click once on it so it is highlighted, then it's Path will show up in the Submit space......Submit the file for an exam and you should have results one way or the other in just a minute.

Let us know please what is found by Copying and Pasting the Jotti results if they indicate any infection. If it's all clear you can post just that.
