Solved: Stalled Outbox in Outlook Express
Outlook Express 6 giving me problems. I can receive email, but if I try to respond, the response goes out multiple times until I go to my outbox and eliminate the response. It appears that it gets stuck in my outbox even though it does send out multitudes of the exact same email until I delete it from the Outbox. I have no problem receiving emails. When I attempt to send an email out, a warning box appears saying "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details". This problem appears even if not responding and just creating a new email. Thanks if you can help.

Hi samtooth6,

Likely your Sent Items folder is full.
Create a new folder and move everything from the Sent Items into it.
Then Compact the Sent Items folder.
If Compacting the empty Sent Items folder doesn't solve the problem, locate the Sent Items.dbx and the Outbox.dbx and delete both files (with OE closed).
New files will be generated the next time you open OE.

Thanks Throoper. You saved my bones the last time I had this problem. I went back to your previous directions and between those and some others, it's finally working properly again. Thanks for your help. It got repaired yesterday, bt I couldn't find where to report that the problem is solved. Can you direct me please?
