Open Outlook Express. Go to View>Sort by>Received>Sort by Ascending.
I hope that helps.

Clicking on the heading of any of your columns
will cause them to sort according to what the
column is called. You probably accidently
clicked the wrong one.

I am concerned about your statement
"...down loading all in the other messages..."

There really shouldn't be other messages in your
Inbox. Any of the default folders are more at risk
than a custom folder. If corruption occurs, you can
lose them permanently. Create custom folders for
storage of emails. In the left pane, right click on
Local Folders and choose New Folder, then name it.

See this article...

Minimizing the Risk Is Also Minimizing the Loss

"Don't put all your eggs in one basket," goes the old saying.
In Outlook Express this translates into "don't save all your
messages in one folder, especially not the Inbox."

I'm not sure if my post helped you or if Vista Rookie's did, but as long as you got it the way you want it now that's all that matters.

I'm sure it was your post that got his columns sorted.
