Proxy server?
Okay well before I start I'm just going to apologize for my complete lack of computer knowledge so if I left out information you need to help me, just let me know and how to get the information.

Well, i wasn't having this issue before but I am now and I don't know why, but I can't do certain things on the internet, such as signing into my yahoo messenger or getting on my myspace account. When I troubleshoot it always comes up with something to do with my HTTP connection or my proxy server. Yahoo messenger told me to go into my Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings and then to check the box saying 'use a proxy server for your LAN' and then click on advanced and verify my address and port. But there is nothing in any of those boxes. I have not messed with or changed any settings lately but it just started doing this. Can someone please give me step by step easy instructions on how to fix this? I would be so very thankful.

Thanks in advance,
Taylor
