HELP! No internet,, No IP
I am unable to use my internet on my Dell desktop. I am currently using my laptop. Yesterday I was attempting to fix the sound on my Dell by downloading new drivers from the Dell website. Well, I got the sound working but the internet now will not work. I am getting a display message of "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage". I tried going into the dos prompt to get my ip address and it is saying that I have no IP! I am also getting a message that the RPC is unavailable.
My wireless is working fine as is my modem.
Please help!!

Press the Windows key + R to open a Run box.

Type in CMD and press Enter.

In the command prompt window, type (or paste) sc config RpcSs start= auto

Press Enter.

Type (or paste) net start RpcSs

Press Enter.

You may need to reboot your computer for changes to apply correctly.
