Hello Friends ,

I have a problem in my outlook Express ,
there are a huge dbx file it was working well , but after occurence problem in it , i had to copy it and put in another file and remove master file and i opened outlook express and naturally this folder became empty . then i closed outlook and i get back file to main source and opend outlook ........ then i surprise , folder became empty
Now outlook doesnt read this file and see it as empty file
i did it as my friend advise me .

( Bummer, it sounds like the file was corrupted before it was saved.
How long ago did you save the Inbox.dbx file?
Have you checked the Recycle Bin to see if there are any .bak files present? )

i have .bak files ,,,, what do i do then ?

Take all the .bak files out of the Recycle Bin and move them to their own folder on the Desktop.
Make sure you also include the Folders.bak file.

Change the file extensions from .bak to .dbx.
Then start Outlook Express and Import those files back into Outlook Express.

File > Import > Messages > Outlook Express 6 > Next
*Important*
Select: Import mail from an OE6 store directory
OK
Click: Browse
and browse to and SELECT the folder on the Desktop that contains the .dbx files that you just renamed.
OK > Next > Next

The Import should start immediately.

Click Finish when it is done.

Let us know what happens.
