Is Device Doctor A Good Site For Driver Updates?
I would like the forum to please evaluate the site hxxp://www.devicedoctor. It seems to have high ratings from Web of Trust and several other places. Although the best way to download device drivers is always through your own computer's web site and service tag, or through Windows Update, several friends and I have wondered what to do if you can't find the updates. Any feedback would be appreciated.

This is my preferred order for finding drivers:

1. PC manufacturer's web site,
2. Motherboard manufacturer's web site,
3. Device manufacturer's web site,
4. A "drivers" site, such as DriverGuide,
5. Anywhere you can find one that might work,
6. Let Device Manager try to find one.
7. Use Windows Update.

Thanks, had some bad luck at Device Doctor and can NOT recommend! (Had to do a System Restore) I like this list! I might have moved Windows Update a little higher, but the proposed solutions make sense.
