I use WinXPPro and Outlook Express6. I have a message rule in OE6 that is suppposed to send an .eml file as a result of fulfilling the message rule. This file is on my hard drive. It works perfectly when I click on it sitting in a directory in my hard drive.

But when I attach it or when the message rule attaches it (the proper attachment shows when the files are in my outbox) , it arrives with the attachment but when i try to download the attachment, it sends me to open a zip file which gives me text which I don't want,

OR if i try to download as a google doc, it fails. I am sending my tests to a gmial address, could that be something?

Is there a setting I need? I think this worked a short time ago (not sure) which makes me wonder...
