Can't open aol emails - originally tried in mozilla firefox, then tried to open in internet explorer 8

Do you mean you cannot log into your AOL email account? Does your screen name and password work or is there any other error message?

Do you still have an AOL screenname?

You can continue to use AOL mail when you cancel your account- this is why I am not asking if you are actively using AOL software as a way to connect to the Internet.... AND you did not say you were using AOL installed on your computer. You do not have to.......

Once you have had an account with AOL, you can continue to use your email address.....this way:

If you go to the AOL main portal page www.aol.com

and click on AOL Mail what happens?

Well the situation seems to have resolved itself already, but the problem was that I could see my list of emails in aol, but I couldn't get them to open so that I could actually read the messages. I guess it was just another glitch with aol...they seem to have a few of those. But thanks for your response!
