internet slow, leaves text part of page on screen
Hi All,

This will be a long post.

I have Windows XP pro, I use Maxthon II browser, you have to have IE in your computer for
this one to work. I like it much better that IE. I am on satellite internet.

I have Zonealarm and AVG on my machine. Malwarebytes, Spybot, Windows defender, and Spyware Blaster.

All are up to date.

I have a 74 G harddrive and 1 G of memory. The harddrive is about 45% loaded.

I am having a hard time coming up with a method to explain my problem.

When I go to certain sites, they hang, then when I "X" to leave that site, the screen goes away.
Now the catch, when I minimize by internet browser, the border goes away, but the body/text
part of the page stays on the screen. I can click on something else and it will go to what I clicked
on. I can also click show desktop in the launch bar and it will go away. The desktop comes up.

Also my internet slows down.

I am going to try and post two sites that affect my computer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...&prst=&shdMod=

This was a random page, this one seem to work okay. I don't remember the exact page I tried three
times and it never came up and was a condition of the problem that I am trying to explain.

http://web.ebscohost.com/serrc/searc...0sessionmgr112

This site would hang each time I went there. I was reluctant to click any further. When I went before, I clicked
on McCulloch gasoline string trimmers, then the go to page listed.

One more problem that I have experienced the last couple of days is my internet fails and I have to restart the
computer to get my connection back.

I can only hope you understand some of this. I will answer any questions that you may have if you
would like to help me on this problem.

Thanks for your time,

Skeeter5000
