Solved: Strange Voices
Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.1
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate , Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 5111 Mb
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series , 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 953772 MB, Free - 737017 MB; E: Total - 482466 MB, Free - 53818 MB; F: Total - 159991 MB, Free - 71065 MB; H: Total - 311408 MB, Free - 161204 MB; J: Total - 99 MB, Free - 31 MB;
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC., Rampage III GENE, Rev 1.xx, 106260540000582
Antivirus: avast! Antivirus, Updated and Enabled

almost every time I open IE9 I get two overlapping American voices describing how to clear the cache and Cookies?
I think it was caused by me cutting short a You Tube instructional Video. I have deleted Internet temporary Files to no avail
and need advice as to where tolook and what for?

Please click HERE to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do not "Fix" anything

For Windows 7 and Vista:

If Windows is denying access to the Hosts file, disable the UAC and run HijackThis again.

I can't find anything in your log to explain the voices. Other than the temporary Internet files, be sure to delete cookies and history as well.

I'm not saying your system is clean. HijackThis surely doesn't show everything. When it does show malware, it's only the tip of the iceberg...

Only the malware removal experts, with their powerful tools, in the Virus & Other Malware Removal forum, could confirm it.
