Exclamation My computer keeps crashing
Can someone help me? My computer crashes daily. I get the error ( problem event name = blue screen). It crashes when I play games on Facebook, or WoW, and at random times. I am running windows 7 32 bit. I have 2 radeon hd 6850's in crossfire, a thubian 6 core processor, 1000 watt psu, 16 gigs ram, Asus crosshair iv mobo. Everything is up to date including latest drivers. It's frustrating since I can not find the issue. Can anyone help me?

When was the last time you removed the dust etc from the fan?

This is the first 3 things that I suggest you try.

1)If you have 4 sticks of RAM, remove 2 (leave the ones in the red slots). Try and see if you still get BSOD's.

2)Run memtest86 on each stick of RAM independently http://www.memtest.org/ any errors means it a bad stick.

3)Have you tried running with just one video card?

I took the entire system apart, put it back together, and cleaned the fans already . there was little dust .

I did find that I had 1 bad stick and I did remove 2 of them so I am now running with 8 gigs of ram until I have the bad stick replaced. I have also tried to run with only 1 video card. I still did get the bsod. I am planning to send my processor back for a new one since I think it may be the cause of my issue as a last ditch effort. My pc crashed during the windows index rating. I have cleaned the registry, dusted all hardware, ran with 4 cores, 5 cores, 6 cores, did a full system restore, installed latest drivers for everything,etc. Still get the bsod. It hurts since the build I gave to my wife is pretty much my old pc before I upgraded it and hers runs just fine and my new beast crashes daily and oh yes she rubs it in daily lol. Crossing fingers hoping it is my cpu.

CPU's are usually not the cause. They very seldom fail. Do not use registry cleaners, they do more harm than good. Your registry doesn't need cleaning, there are a number of posts on this forum regarding this.

Have you checked your temps?
If you don't have it download HWMonitor and post a screenshot of it. http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmon...s-history.html

Your temps and power look OK.

Did you build this yourself?
What antivirus are you running?

Can you get the error code when it BSOD's?

I did this build myself. I am running Norton security suite. Had Norton 360 but my internet provider offers internet suite with their package. I just looked in my event viewer. I have code 200 & 201 on shutdowns but a few more. here is a screenprint of all errors since my system restore
