Hi all, i've been experiencing an odd issue since I built my gaming rig and don't know what to do, my games randomly minimize to the taskbar and run fne when reopend i've tried using task manager to see if anything else is runnin, nothing to be found ,even uninstalled my virus protector, issue persists, I truly don't know what to do, im using windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I guess you'd have to go through your processes one by one. Post a list here if you want to see if anyone spots anything.

You can save a list of running processes from the process windows (use File menu) in Process Hacker rather than typing them all out.

the main error was capi2 failed to uplooad auto root data from list

That may be due to Windows Update. Maybe that is taking focus for its balloon tip.

How often does it happen?

(You failed to mention that you are using a game booster. Try turning that off, too. On most machines, it should not help the game much or at all. Often, the child processes also get focus when your parent gets it. It may be inherited.)

it happens sometimes randonly and sometimes on what sems to be a 20 minute loop.....ive recieved these as error messages from gamebooster (problem occurred before even installing game booster)

Hi everyone ever since I built my new gaming rig my games have crashed seemingly randomly, i've delved deep into all possible causes and have narrowed it to 3 errors that I see occurring on event viewer the first was that security center was disabled, easy enough i turned it on, as well as windows defender, the second was an error titled "capi 2" which doesn't occur at the time of my crashes, the third which I feel is most likely to be the cause of said crashes is this "windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards" This I feel has to be the culprit, I downloaded a 64 bit registry cleaner called Ccleaner, which I then used, it really didn't point anything out.... So now I have come here. wondering if any of you gents could help me out, (it should be noted that this does not occur on games that did not require me to register said game such as dirt 3, but does occur on games that are registered to a site ie. oblivion via steam and diablo via battlenet. Please help

We don't recommend using any type of registry cleaner on this site as they frequently do more harm than good. What antivirus are you using?

What is your RAM configuration? 8GB 2 - 4gb sticks, 4 - 2gb sticks?

Take out one module and see if you still have the problem, then switch modules and do the same thing.

do you think the windows wiggle feature could minimize games because I was playing diablo 3 and was dragging an item across the screen, it then minimized? I know that the wiggle thing is only when you touch the borders of the window but maybe the launcher stays open in the background while the games running

Not unless you are running the game in a window, which would not be the default.
