 Several issues i need help with. ok heres the deal. I used my computer to try to reformat and install windows on my buddies HDD becaused his cd Drive wasnt working. that didnt work but thats not the issue. Shortly afterwards i replace my HDDs into my tower and its all gone downhill from there. i left my HDD with windows installed still hooked up while doing the installation of xp to my buddys HDD so im thinking a virus or trojan or something got at my computer because now...
1. Windows cant connect to the windows error reporting server.
2. Windows media player crashes if a) i play multiple audio tracks or b) i try to watch any format video
3.VLC Player Crashes if i play multiple video tracks and lags if im doing anything else at the same time.
4.Every once in a while at startup windows wont even load it just crashes and i have to reboot.
5.windows itself crashes when using task manager to close windows media player when it crashes.
Please let me know what you think i should do cuz virus scans that ive used havent been able to fix the issue. and i have too much stuff on PC to bother reformatting and reinstalling windows.
