Do you really need Origin and GameStop Now to start whenever Windows loads?

If not, press the Windows key + R to open a Run box.

Type msconfig

Press Enter.

Select the Startup tab and uncheck the related items.

I did that
I turned them and other startup programs off and it still froze. Thanks anyways. Is there anything else that seems wrong?

Try a Clean Boot troubleshooting procedure. It'll help you determine which application might be causing your computer to freeze in Normal Mode. Run it for both Services and Startup items.

Tried it
I disabled all non Microsoft services and I disabled all startup items but to no avail. Do you think it is a Microsoft service that is messing it up?

Maybe it's a misbehaving driver. Are drivers (graphics, audio...) up-to-date?

Yes
I checked to see if any drivers had updates and all of them were up to date.

Uninstall the graphic cards, download the drivers from NVIDIA site and reinstall the drivers.

Test RAM.

Memory Testing (including bootable CD's and floppies):

Memtest86
MemScope (Floppy and CD images.)
Roadkil's RAM Test
Microsoft Memory Test (floppy or CD ISO image)

If you have enough memory sticks, you can test them by removing one at a time and see if the problem disappears.

If you are running Vista or 7, tap F8 on boot and choose the memory diagnostic, or if you can boot up, go to Start > Search and type:

mdsched.exe

Choose to run a memory diagnostic on next boot. Or, you can boot from the DVD and run it from there.
