XPS 15 L502 Win7 64bit Home premium
Not sure I am in the right forum, but ......

Got an XPS 15 i7 L502

HDD died, and Dell customer service is so crap (in UK) so I got a new HDD, and made a win7 usb but the computer not recognizing the wifi or the USB ports in normal mode.

I tried to use the drivers on the Dell CD, and although they seem specific to win7 64bit, still no change, usb not recognized in normal mode ( although able to load win7 from it when installing)

Did I miss something ?

Check (on your driver's CD and/or the Dell web site) to see if you are to install drivers in a particular order. If they specify no special order install the chipset first and then the others. Whatever is on the driver's CD should work, but better to download the latest from Dell's site.
