Im having a problem with my bluetooth, im unable to find it in my system tray, when i search for it in START menu it appears to be there but when i try launching it, nothing happens. I re downloaded the bluetooth drive but i get the same results

im not sure :S i dont have any Function key to turn it on or off, and i dont know how to do that manually. since i cant even open up bluetooth settings.

Dell no longer uses the <Fn> + <F2> key combination for toggling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth? Or am I making the bad assumption that it is integrated? If it's integrated there must be some hardware or software switch. And then, as in my HP, there may also be a Dell utility on top of that.

On my HP Bluetooth makes no appearance anywhere when it is turned off; when on I get an icon in the Notification Area and it appears in Device Manager.

it uses F2 for wifi, not visible in device manager.

Surely there is a physical or software switch to toggle the Bluetooth on/off. Check your Dell documentation to discover what it is. On my only Dell laptop it is the <Fn> + <F2> key combination.

Need the Make and Model. I see Dell. you may have a button that enables bluetooth - you may have a function key + {key}. Cannot tell without knowing what box you are using.

I fixed this.. i dont know how but for some reason i restarted my system and went into the bios it was already enabled but i disabled and reenabled the bluetooth and just happened to work again.
