Thumbs down Solved: waking computer after putting to sleep.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my home built computer. Whenever I put my computer to sleep and wake it up with the power key on my keyboard it shuts down and I have to turn off the power supply and wait 5 seconds before I turn it back on. This is irritating. Why does my computer completely shut down and how do I fix this problem? Thanks for any and all help!

Usually when putting a computer into sleep mode pressing any key on the keyboard will wake the computer. I would recommend pressing the space bar instead of the power button in order to avoid conflicts.

Thanks! I was given another method. That was to just jiggle the mouse. It works fine.
