Windows 7 Taskbar Colors.
Hello.

Does anyone know a way to make the 'glowing' effect on the taskbar less annoying. When an application has focus or when you hover over each one it is glowing all sorts of colors.

Thanks, Jonathan.

I guess you could go back to Vista. ;-)

Really, I don't know that it can be changed, maybe disabling Aero

No image?

Window color maybe? Saturation and brightness settings seemed to have no effect. No single performance setting I could find without disabling all of the aero effects. Nothing is taskbar properties I could find either.

I wish there was as I would keep the highlighting to just the active window, rather than just the active window having the most glare...I did like how vista appeared better with its taskbar....I have mine ungrouped so the effect is bad
