Weird Freeze Issues!--image distorting
Hello, I have had Windows 7 for a couple months or so, and have had no issues except this one. This comes on without warning. I am either watching a video online, or just surfing the web. This happens, makes no noise of any kind, and I have to manually shut down. I thought it was something with a video driver, so I uninstalled and reinstalled that. I also did the same with my audio driver. What could this mean? I have win7 ultimate. HELP!

See attached file

Thank you in advance

Is it onboard video, or a card.

Try reseating the video card and memory modules.

it is onboard video, i cannot remove the card like i can the modules. i will reseat the ram ( i recently upgraded from 3GB to 4GB). a friend who works at compusa says it could be the driver or the motherboard.

If the problem started after the ram upgrade, ram would be my first suspect.
