Windows 7 won't let my HP C5200 printer install
I cannot install an HP Photosmart C5200 printer on a computer with Windows 7. I get an OS: 601.64 code. Does this mean the operating system is incompatible with the printer driver? Is there a way to fix this?

Did you download drivers or try to install from CD?

Absolutely moronic of HP. I just ran into the same problem installing a C4480 that *came bundled* with the Windows 7 PC! How much intelligence would it take to make sure that a device that you sell bundled with a specific PC works 'plug & play' with that PC? However little that takes, it appears that HP doesn't have it.
