i only used it to make a recovery disc have not used it since if i was you i would google it & research it also you could put in your search engine what you want from other burning programs so you get what you want it to do

What exactly are you trying to burn? You posted this in the Windows 7 forum which is supposed to mean you have a question about the Windows 7 operating system. I thought you had Vista installed and loved it.

You can name a folder whatever you want and burn it to a disk with Vista's built-in burning capabilities. If you're trying to burn an ISO image, that's something different.

Hi,

Could you tell us exactly where you downloaded the file on your desktop from?

If you meant that you have an installer for Windows 7 and need to burn it to a DVD-R then you need to do it as an .ISO image.

Oddly a normal download of Win7, those I have seen, are just a file not a folder...so I am not sure what you have there

Hello kitkin. Do you require a -r disk to save on win7. I have been trying to save a system back up and had to use a dvd-r.

It would help if he'd actually post all relevant information to start with.

Here are instructions for creating an ISO from the Digital River download (if that's what you have).

There is no way to be sure what kitkin15 has downloaded until they post back.

kitkin15 Would you do us the favor of answering my question to you?

yes i love vista...or LOVED lol i had to reboot my computer and i dont remember how to fix the kinks, plus its free so theres no reason not to upgrade =)

im extracting windows7 to my desktop in a folder i created called "windows7 download" but i will ONLY burn whats in the folder, not the "windows7 download" folder itsself, i am planing on burning it so i can use it. i was told to do so on the site i was on, i will give you a link to the site with all the info when i get back home

It's way to late to get Windows 7 legally for free except for some very special circumstances. So, your link to the source and your explanation of your special circumstances had better be good.
