Windows 7 and internet problem
I have windows 7 Home premium in my HP laptop. The internet was working but now I can not connect to the internet. However I can access my router page. The same thing happens when I connect to the router using Ethernet cable.

can you post some more info

make and model of PC
make and model of router / modem etc

can you connect via cable and do the below

{ipconfig /all}
We would like to see the results from ipconfig /all

-> Start > run {search bar in Vista} > cmd > ipconfig /all
post back the results here

TWO Methods to do that - if you cannot access the internet with PC, then use method 2 to copy onto a machine that can access the internet and post results here

Method ONE -------------------------------------------------------------
start > run {search bar in Vista} > cmd > ipconfig /all

rightclick in the box
select all
enter
control key + C key - to copy
then reply here and
control key + V to paste

Method TWO -------------------------------------------------------------

Start> Run {search bar in Vista}> CMD to open a DOS window and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

{Ping Tests}
Start> Run {search bar in Vista}> CMD to open a DOS window and type:

Ping google.com
Post back the results

rightclick in the box
select all
enter
control key + C key - to copy
then reply here and
control key + V to paste

Ping 209.191.93.53
post back results

I restore my computer to a time the internet was working but the problem remains the same

=======edit========

I visit http://74.125.67.100/ (google.com)
and it was working so I think the problem is DNS related but the DNS is working in my XP machines that is connected to the same router

First of all, protecting your public IP address (which you don't have) can offer some protection. Protecting your MAC doesn't really do anything.

Second, are both computers connected to the same router? If so, does the laptop have the same DNS configuration as the desktop?

Third, log onto your router and see what DNS entries it has. Use those for your laptop and see if it works. If it does, the problem is your router.

If that is the case, you will have to do a complete reset of your router.

you seem to have a DNS issue when connected by wireless

If you put the 209.191.93.53 into internet browser while connected to wireless - you will should get yahoo appear

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Vista or Windows 7.

Start, All Programs\Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following commands, each followed by the Enter key:

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

Reboot the machine.

209.191.93.53 was resolved to m.www.yahoo.com but it didn't open. ( 74.125.67.100/ open)

all computers obtain ip and dns automatically. my laptop was working so the proble, is not from the router

Courtney
just for info:

do you mean that I didn't protect my public IP or I didn't have them here. If I show them here what are they?

A physical IP is the one provided by the ISP - you did not show that here
The IPs you show - 192.168.x.x is on almost every home router (old ones may use 10.x.x.x) so no info there
MAC address is a unique ID on any netwrok device and again no secruity issue showing here really
