Solved: Widows 7 upgrade advice
I have a very general question, with no problem.
My friend just got a new laptop with Vista installed and is getting the free windows 7 upgrade.
She has had no problems with Vista.Network is fine, works with existing printer and she is satisfied with the performance of all her favorite apps.
So my question is,what will she gain by the upgrade?
What are the potential problems she will encounter.(printer no longer works etc)
I am a"if it ain't broke, don't fix it"kinda guy,but if she will benefit from the upgrade,we'll do it.
Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Win 7 is noticably more nimble than Vista . . you can run the upgrade advisor to see if there are any conflicts

1) Possibly some confusion ... For example ... W7 does NOT have Mail.
2) W7 looks so much like Vista .. It should have been a service pack.

Since She's not having problems ... You might want to wait several months and check the News again.
I hear there's a Service Pack coming for W7 soon ...

Dump Vista, go with 7 and don't look back.
