Windows 7 WiFi sharing problem.(USB router) Ok, so i have my WiFi max, which is a usb dongle netowork device thing. Back in XP, i used it as a "router" or "access point" for my PS3's wifi internet. In windows 7, i have installed the driver for this dongle, installed the software, but when i connect my ps3 to it, it says "The ip address cannot be found". My computer is connecto to the internet, and i want to share that inernet with the one that the dongle sends out. This worked in XP, i just pressed on the connection my computer was connected to and enabled internet connection sharing. I do the same thing in Windows 7, but it wont work...Any suggestions? Can it be a firewall thing? I have windows firewall turned off, but i guess it still might be blocking it.... |
