Cannot connect to the internet

Hi, I recently upgraded my PC to Windows 7 Ultimate but unforturnatley I cannot connect to the internet on it I have no idea why. Also I cannot add any new devices and the omputer does not recognise when new devices have been attached any help would be gratefully recived,

Have you checked Device Manager to see if you have any missing drivers?

Have you installed the chipset and other drivers for your specific machine, or are you relying on whatever Windows installed?

Perhaps a brief report on what computer, with specs, you are using?
