Driver issue
Not a huge issue but I installed my Razer Copperhead mouse drivers today and as soon as I've done that I lost audio twice and keyboard response once, all 3 requiring a restart to work again.

I have a feeling that it was the mouse drivers that caused this problem even though i've not had one problem up untill now.

I am running 64bit W7 Hp and have not had 1 single issue up until then.

Question is can you install unsigned drivers and they cause issues or do all drivers to even be installed have to be digitally signed?

Also a very general question but I don't really like messing with things if they arn't broken so is it really worth it to download all the cpu, audio, mouse etc drivers if they work fine already?

Regards.

64bit W7 - All Drivers have to be digitally signed, but you can allow unsigned drivers

Digitally signed WHQL drivers have to meet certain requirements to be signed and verify the driver has not been altered since the driver was created.

Non digitally drivers have not gone WHQL testing, and could be altered by third parties. So in short how stable or possible future issues with non digitally drivers are anyone’s guess....

To enable non digital signed drivers you have to edit the boot options in the BCD store. If you do not care about the above risks you can enable this feature by following the instructions in the below article:
