No sound after Installation
Hello there, I'm looking for a bit of help here.

Today I installed Windows 7, and am overall very pleased and impressed with the new OS, but there is one major problem, My speakers (Logitech X-120) are not working.

It is an analogue connection, the green pin is in the correct slot at the rear of my tower (Compaq Presario SR1000), I know these work as I had XP installed last night and they where working. I've looked on the Compaq website for drivers, and the logitech site but there is no drivers for this type of speaker.

I have ran Windows update and installed all the minor and major updates but still no sound.

Please Tech Support Guy posters can you help me out.

Check Device Manager and see if the Audio or Multimedia device is listed with a yellow exclimation mark next to it. You will need to find the drivers for your sound card. Try www.driverguide.com for relevant drivers.
