No. Office 32bit won't work on a 64bit OS. You have to get the version compatible with your operating system.

Office 2007 is a 32-bit application, and it works with Windows 7 64-bit just fine except Send to OneNote printer and Fax, and Groove Synchronization doesn't work.

There is no such thing as Office 2007 64-bit.

I am running MS office 2003 in Win 7-64 without any problems yet.
Installed office sp3 without problems. And all is well.

In general if the 32 bit is well behaved, it will run reasonably well in win7-64.

I am running firefox 32 bit, openoffice3.1.1(32bit), Solid Edge (cad), Rhino (3d cad) and many other 32 bit apps without problems.

I should disclose that most install are easy, but a few installs hang on security issues to the programfiles. When there is a hang, I open the new folder in program files, and change the security to give me full rights to the folder. Then I tell the installer to retry.

By default, Win7 give the installer "privilaged rights" to the program folder but gives the user only read rights. This is by design for tighter security, but causes problems with some older (pre vista) install programs.

I have also found that program compatibility assistant is always wrong. So I have turned off the service. It is less annoying, and reduces problems.
