I am running the Windows 7 RC and Windows Vista on a dual boot machine. Yesterday, Windows 7 changed my account type. When I log in under my administrative account (this is the only account I have made) it logs me in as a temporary user. I tried to go into the Manage Credentials part of the Control Panel, but it always says Windows Explorer has stopped working, but windows explorer works fine every where else. I have also tried to enable the master administrator account but was unable to. Lastly, I tried to delete the temporary user file under the C drive, but it says I am going to delete my main user file. I once clicked just to see what would happen and it gave me an error saying it could not delete it.
Help please, I don't want to go back to Vista. I do not have a restore disk as this is the Windows 7 RC.
The only file I had recently downloaded was a free composition program I have used many times before, Anvil Studio, which I uninstalled immediately when I noticed the change, but that did not have any affect either.
Addition: Windows Vista is not having this problem.
Addition 2: Tried to activate the master administrator account, and it worked this time. It shows my personal account as an administrator account, but when I log onto my personal account, it logs me on as a temporary user still.
