Right Click on File or folder in Windows 7 Causes explorer.exe to stop working.
I am having this problem recently and I am not sure of the solution.
To solve the problem on the fly one has to start task manager, stop the explorer.exe process, start a new task, type in command.com enter explorer.exe into the Dos window and press enter.
This enables one to carry on using the computer.

Ways to prevent:

I have been told and have found what seems to be the solution:
Type run in the search programs and files(bottom right) click run, enter MSCONFIG, go to startup tab and disable programs that may be causing the problem.
I am not sure I have found the problem program causing this yet but I have disabled a couple of startup programs and the right click freeze seems to be happening less now??
Any comments.

Startup will not fix it, when you right click it brings up a Context Menu, yours has a problem context menu handler installed.

Some software when installed puts context menu handlers in the right click menu.
Most of the time is is one of these 3rd party handlers that causes this issue.

You can either start uninstalling added software, or use this program (ShellExView) to disable context menu handlers one at a time until you find the problematic one, a process of elimination.

Follow the below instructions Carefully:
1. Download HiJackThis from the link in my signature
2. Run a Scan.
3. Save a Logfile(On your Desktop)
4. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING BY YOURSELF.
(Fixing Anything Might cause Unwanted System Instability,BSOD's and Even Render your System Unusable)
5.Copy and Paste all the contents
6. Paste them in the reply Window

Try running "chkdsk /r" without the quotes..

I am NOT a Hijack this log inspector but.....
to me it seems clean under the processes tab.
Whats your Graphic card?
Have you installed the correct drivers for it?
Please post the other two logs also.
For a security check,
try running a full scan with SAS and MalwareBytes
